Rockwell has developed film structures to effectively replace Aluminium based lidding stock and provides various films for this application.

The push from pending EEC regulations to encourage the use of the same films for top and bottom webs, coupled with a strong emphasis on increased machine efficiency has led to the development of cost effective high speed weld and peel sealable films for this application.

Films available for this application include Rocklid and laminates of metallised polyesters.

Rockwell is also involved in supplying coated polyester lidding films for Yoghurt and similar pots where foil is being eliminated.
