EASYSTEAM PET

Easysteam™ is a 99% pure polyester in its composition. Easysteam™ Film has a perforated PET seal layer laminated to a PET carrier layer specially treated to allow gasses which arise during cooking to escape through the seals of the pack.

Easysteam™ enables steaming and pressure cooking in ready meal or hot meal replacement applications. As Easysteam™ creates a high intensity cooking environment, it speeds up the cooking of the meal resulting in a superior tasting product. Easysteam™ maintains a partially closed self-venting environment during cooking which restricts moisture loss and promotes a juicy and succulent product at the end of the cooking process.

Easysteam™ PET is designed to achieve peelable or fused seals to APET, APET lined CPET or to itself. Packs sealed with Easysteam™ are hermitically sealed.

Easysteam™ PET films can be supplied printed and can be laminated to other films.

Easysteam™ films complies with all European and FDA regulations, including cooking. Whilst Rockwell takes all precautions to ensure that their lidding films are suitable for the application intended, the ultimate responsibility lies with the food packer to ensure that the film is suitable for their purpose.
