ROCKLID MPP-AF Metal

Rocklid™ is a coated polyester film and is 99.9% pure polyester in its composition. Exceptionally strong.

Rocklid™ MPP films are engineered to achieve very strong seals to all substrates, such as CPET, RPET, PS, PE, PP, Aluminium, PVC and PVDC. It produces medium strength peels to APET. Rocklid™ is microwaveable, freezable and ovenable. Rocklid™ MPP film is designed to be strong peelable at the time of production and following microwaving. However, during transit, the film will be a very strong almost fused seal. The anti-fog properties have a permanent shelf life.

Rocklid™ MPP-AF film can seal at much lower temperatures than comparable films on the market. Seal strength reduces following microwaving to achieve a smooth easy peel. Rocklid™ MPP film will also seal through a degree of contamination of sealing flanges but flanges should be kept clean.

Rocklid™ MPP-AF can be supplied printed and can be laminated to other films.

Rocklid™ film complies with all European and FDA regulations, including cooking. Whilst Rockwell takes all precautions to ensure that their lidding films are suitable for the application intended, the ultimate responsibility lies with the food packer to ensure that the film is suitable for their purpose.
