ROCKLID SPX-AF

Rocklid™ is a coated polyester film and is 99.9% pure polyester in its composition. Exceptionally strong.

Rocklid™ SPX-AF films are engineered to achieve very strong peel seals to APET, rPET, ready meal and paperboard trays when cold. It also seals to CPET and PVC trays. SPX-AF is designed to seal through contamination and yet be peelable when frozen. Rocklid™ is microwaveable and ovenable, chillable and freezable. Rocklid™ SPX-AF film is designed to be a strong peelable film. The film will self-vent in a conventional oven (fan assisted). Our antifog is the clearest antifog in the market with a shelf life of many years.

Rocklid™ SPX-AF film can seal at much lower temperatures than comparable films on the market. Seal strength reduces following microwaving to achieve a smooth easy peel. Rocklid™ SPX-AF film will also
seal through a high degree of contamination of sealing flanges but flanges should be kept clean.

Rocklid™ SPX-AF film can be supplied printed and can be laminated to other films.

Rocklid™ film complies with all European and FDA regulations, including cooking. Whilst Rockwell takes all precautions to ensure that their lidding films are suitable for the application intended, the ultimate responsibility lies with the food packer to ensure that the film is suitable for their purpose.
