STARBARRIER 12PET / HT-AF 30/40/50

STARBARRIER™ HT-AF is a polyolefin based film. Exceptionally strong. This is a high barrier, in house proprietary coating ClearBar coated film with exceptional oxygen barrier even in high moisture environments.

STARBARRIER™ HT-AF film is a clear high barrier peelable film that is used for oxygen sensitive products. STARBARRIER™ HT-AF film is engineered to achieve strong peelable seals to polypropylene and also to itself. STARBARRIER™ HT-AF is microwavable, but not ovenable. HT-AF is pasteurisable and retortable.

STARBARRIER™ HT-AF film seals at around 150ºC forming a peelable seal. Use of higher temperatures will lead to strong seals until eventually fused seals are achieved. Initial sealing temperature should be set at 170ºC for 0.5 seconds. If fusion continues, between 150 and 170ºC for 0.5 seconds will achieve a peelable seal.

STARBARRIER™ HT-AF film can be supplied printed.

STARBARRIER™ HT-AF film complies with all European and FDA regulations, including cooking. Whilst Rockwell takes all precautions to ensure that their lidding films are suitable for the application intended, the ultimate responsibility lies with the food packer to ensure that the film is suitable for their purpose.
