STARLID GPE-N3

STARLID ™ is a coated polyester film and is 95% pure polyester in its composition. Exceptionally strong.

STARLID ™ GPE-N3 film is a general-purpose film engineered to achieve strong peelable seals to APET, CPET, PVC, PP, PE, HDPE, OPS, HIPS, PS, ABS, Aluminum, Coated and uncoated paper, unglazed pottery, Glass and CPET trays without an APET seal layer. STARLID ™ GPE-N3’s high temperature resistant coating is designed for hot fill projects or projects
where the seal needs to withstand certain degree of heat without venting.
STARLID ™ GPE-N3 can be used for aqueous and alcoholic foods including microwaving and ovening. It can also be frozen or chilled.

STARLID™ GPE-N3 film seals at much lower temperatures than comparable films on the market. STARLID™ GPE-N3 film will also seal through a certain degree of contamination of sealing flanges but flanges should be kept clean.

STARLID™ GPE-N3 film can be supplied printed and can be laminated to other films.

STARLID film complies with European regulations including cooking for aqueous and alcoholic foods. Whilst Rockwell takes all precautions to ensure that their lidding films are suitable for the application intended, the ultimate responsibility lies with the food packer to ensure that the film is suitable for their purpose.
